Carol Taylor, Compliance Specialist at BenefitMall, brings over 30 years of expertise in the employee benefits industry, ranging from insurance accounting to account management to compliance. Carol completed a Juris Masters’ degree with High Distinction in March 2023, specializing in healthcare and corporate compliance from Liberty University and is a licensed life and health agent in Florida. Carol is currently the Professional Development Chair for NABIP-FL after serving as the State Legislative Chair for 5 years.

She has served at the national level for NABIP on the Compliance Committee since 2013 and served on the National Legislative Council from 2013 to 2017. Carol has helped author and present several of the NABIP certification courses, which are also part of the REBC designation curriculum.

At the local level, Carol serves as the Immediate Past President and Treasurer of the NABIP-Jax chapter and stays active on the legislative side of things.

In her spare time, she serves as Treasurer on the Northeast Florida Scottish Highland Games & Festival Board of Directors and helps plan their one-day event with attendance of more than 20,000 annually. She enjoys spending time with her family including the four-legged Velociraptor/German Shepherds otherwise known as Aila and Scout, cooking, getting wind therapy on her motorcycle, and quilting. Carol recently earned her ham radio Technician license and her call sign is KQ4NZD.
